Fall 2007 – “SkyCop® goes to Boot Camp”

In the fall of 2007 US Army Base Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri required upgrades and updates to an aged digital recording system. SkyCop® was selected as the preferred product. After vigorous testing for security against unauthorized access under the US Army DIACAP process, SkyCop® was accredited and given clearance to be deployed on the base network. A “Letter of Networthiness” was issued and SkyCop® was moved to the front lines at all vehicle entry points and various other locations post-wide.

Summer 2007 – “SkyCop® on the Move”

After many inquiries for a mobile SkyCop® platform, the first of many mobile platforms rolled out of production. Complete with cellular, wireless mesh, and satellite communications the mobile generation is born. All mobile units incorporate there own power plant complete with generator, batteries, power inverter and self-leveling hydraulic trailer.

Spring 2007 – “SkyCop® keeps Black Water Rolling”

Under a Home Land Security program and after extensive testing and design criteria, SkyCop® is selected and deployed by the City of Memphis in Tennessee to monitor, record, and assist in the protection of critical vehicle and rail bridges crossing the mighty Mississippi River from Arkansas into Memphis. Both direct connect fiber optic connections and wireless technologies make these cameras available to key individuals 24 / 7 throughout the city network.
