The STI Perimeter Commander is a mobile annunciator for a perimeter vehicle that incorporates a two-way radio data highway interface, encrypted high band radio with multiple channel communications, and GSP location. With the perimeter commander, correctional facilities can monitor the location of the perimeter vehicle through GPS technology. From within the perimeter vehicle, the officers will have a variety of indication and acknowledgement capabilities. The Perimeter Commander is also designed to address applications such as malls, campuses, industrial parks, medical facilities, giving central security offices GPS placement of their officers as well as the option for mobile units to control security gates and doors or receive alarms such as duress or door entry.
